I’m sure you’ve got it marked down in your iCal already, but if you didn’t know, The Dark Knight Rises comes out on home video on December 4th. And in case you need any inspiration to pre-order it, or just otherwise need a reason to buy the disc when it comes out in less than two months, we have a new trailer for the Blu-ray release, which is embedded below (via Coming Soon):
Rises will be available in Blu-ray Combo Pack for $35.99 and on single disc DVD for $28.98. Also available that same day will “The Dark Knight Trilogy Limited Edition Giftset,” which includes Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises along with a premium book exclusive to the collection. Of course, if you want to hold out, or double dip as the kids say, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment also plans to release “The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector’s Edition” in 2013.
Meanwhile, Rises co-screenwriter Jonathan Nolan waded into the controversy(ies) of the film’s ending while talking to IGN (via /Film) during this past weekend’s New York Comic Con. Among the topics of discussion: did Alfred see what he thought he saw, and what’s the deal with John Blake’s secret identity and his future in Gotham City? Here what the Other Nolan had to say, and obviously, spoiler alert!
