‘Game of Thrones’ Lands in Morocco, Emilia Clarke & Iain Glenn on Set

These past few weeks have been like a world tour for the Game of Thrones cast and crew. This week finds them in Essaouira, Morocco, which stand in for Astapor, Daenerys’ (Emilia Clark) next stop as she continues traveling East. I believe this season we’re going to see Dany really come into to her own. She’s got her dragons getting bigger everyday, she’s gained more confidence after the events in Qarth, and I believe she’ll be gaining a few more allies – and a few more enemies – soon.

The biggest thing we’ll see the Mother of Dragons come up against this season is slavery, especially what that means about the army of Unsullied (basically, trained warrior eunuch slaves) she’s hoping to procure. Check out some of the shots below of them filming featuring Clark, Iain Glenn (Jorah Mormont), Dan Hildebrand (Kraznys), and Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei).
