Michael Bay’s continuing eye-candy franchise will be continuing in the form of Transformers 4. It’s no news that the former human leads have been dumped in favor of fresh ones, but what is news is the casting description that’s been circulating. Apparently, Bay and company are looking for a “high school senior and her boyfriend, a Texas racing driver.”
Gee whiz… wow… golly. That makes it sound so much more palatable.
As far as returning cast is concerned, Glenn Morshower will be reprising his role for both Trannie 4 and 5 and Peter Cullen (no relation to sparkly Edward) will be voicing Optimus Prime once more.
One person who may not be coming back is Hugo Weaving, the voice of Megatron. He currently says that he’s not been approached about the film and thus has no idea what’s going on.
Oh, and Michael Bay will be directing again, just in case you were wondering.
Thanks to bleedingcool for the heads-up.
