Tom Cruise Seeking Yet Another Sci-fi Role

If it’s one thing that Tom Cruise is no stranger to, it’s sci-fi flicks.  For better or for worse, he’s done his fair share.  After all, when you have as big a name as Cruise does, you can pretty much get any job you want.  He just finished up Oblivion earlier this year and is going on to be severely miscast in the graphic novel adaptation All You Need is Kill.  Now, he may be picking up one more to add to his resume – Our Name is Adam.

Scripted by T.S. Nowlin, this movie is actually not a remake, reboot or adaptation of a comic book/graphic novel, so it’s very unique in the Hollywood scene.  That also means that no details are known yet as to what the thing is about.

Of course, Cruise is just looking for now, so only time will tell if he jumps on board.  He’s also been said to be looking at a Van Helsing reboot, another crappy Mission: Impossible film and The Magnificent Seven remake.  I guess which role he decides to take will depend on his commitment to recycling.

Thanks to screenrant for the heads-up.
