You can get a good look at one of the major bad guys in Peter Jackson‘s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Bolg the Orc Chieftain, played by Conan Stevens. I bet it was hot as hell in all that makeup and Orc armor.

Bolg is described as:

An Orc chieftain who came to power in the Misty Mountains after his father, Azog was killed in the war with Dwarves. Bolg ruled for some 150 years and led an army of Orcs in the Battle of Five Armies.

He’s a mean looking sucker, isn’t he? Of course one never really sees many petite, pretty orcs.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theater screens on December 14th, 2013.
