The Dark Knight Rises may have been the last in Christopher Nolan’s epic Batman trilogy, but for some on the crew, it does not mean they won’t be getting back together again to try their hands at something new. The Dark Knight’s lead cinematographer, Wall Pfister is going to try his hands at directing and will be employing the help of Christopher Nolan, his wife Emma Thomas and possibly even Christian Bale on the project.
Nolan and Thomas will be acting as executive producers to the new flick, Transcendence, while Bale is being sought after in a lead capacity. There’s also talk of bringing in Johnny Depp to play the primary lead. Quite a bit of talent in one place at one time.
Little is known about Transcendence as of yet, other than it is about “a man who creates a computer that develops a malevolent awareness” and that it will supposedly be in the same vein as movies like 2001 and Inception.
Thanks to blastr for the heads-up.
