‘All You Need Is Kill’ Is What You Need a Week Earlier

Anxious to see All You Need Is Kill, the Doug Liman adaptation of the Japanese graphic novel of the same name? Well don’t fret because Warner Bros and Village Roadshow are getting ready to unleash it on you a whole week early.

Deadline is reporting the studios are pulling Kill from its previous March 14th, 2014 release date and will instead now come out a week earlier on March 7th, 2014. The reasoning is perhaps to get Kill, the story of a soldier played by Tom Cruise who’s stuck in a time loop reliving the day he died in a war against alien invaders, out in front of Disney’s Maleficent, the live-action re-telling of Sleeping Beauty starring Angelina Jolie as the titular villainess. Instead, Kill’s new release date will pit it against Sony’s Invertigo, the next film from D.J. Caruso (Disturbia).

So mark that down on your calendars, Bastards, All You Need Is Kill starring Cruise, Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton and Charlotte Riley, is coming out March 7, not 14, in the year 2014. And now, for something completely hilarious
