You’ll soon be seeing Jaimie Alexander making the publicity rounds for her appearance in the latest Arnold Schwarzenegger film The Last Stand and many of those interviews will turn the to the topic of her role as Sif in the upcoming Thor: The Dark World. She recently sat down with IAmRogue to talk about the Marvel Studios project.

“We sort of explore the Sif/Thor relationship a little bit. It’s more getting a feel of who these people are and how they are the way they are with each other.”

They go on to discuss the change in director with Kenneth Branagh turning over the reins to Alan Taylor, the recasting of Zachary Levi as Fandral, and the overall darker tone of Thor’s third big screen appearance post The Avengers movie. Check it out in the video below.

Thor: The Dark World takes place in the aftermath Marvel’s The Avengers, as Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos when an ancient race, led by the vengeful Malekith, return to plunge the universe back into darkness.
