Previously, we heard about an audience that had attended a screening of Man of Steel, which was very well received, a fact not all that surprising considering the crowd was made up of Warner Bros. executives and their families, who kind of had an invested interest – literally and figuratively – in liking it. But suppose there was a more objective audience, what would their reaction be like?
Well a scooper sent his opinion to JoBlo, and it was a rave. Here are some of the points he gave to the website (in his own words):
-Imagine a Nolan story with Snyder effects/action
-It’s the best movie of the year.
-There’s TONS of action with Superman kicking all kinds of ass in his suit.
-The cape is CG’d most of the time so it can look awesome.
-They have intentionally left out most of the the Super action in trailers to save it.
-It’s not nearly as dour and serious as the trailers suggest.
-The movie is complete, minus the 3D post-conversion, which is currently taking place
Well that must surely be a relief to those of us who may have been worrying that there’s too much starch in this shirt, a little too serious for its own good in other words. You may feel free to call “Plant!” on this notice of course, but the scoop is someone that JoBlo says that it’s someone they “know and trust 100 per cent.” The scooper also added that the film is all but complete except for the 3-D conversion.
How about you, Bastards? Are you cautiously optimistic by the news, or has all this rave raised some doubts?
