When I was four my parents let me sit in on my first PG-13 film and it instilled in me a love and fear of dinosaurs for years, all thanks to Jurassic Park. Now, Twenty years and I still can’t say “Goldblum” the same way twice in a row, but in the years since, I’ve prayed to see these murderous creatures in 3D one day.
Two decades later we’re all blessed with the announcement of Jurassic Park 3D. In order to drum up interest before it’s April 5th re-release, Universal Pictures has arranged two new TV spots. “Faster” and “Welcome” are quick, thirty-second spots seem geared more towards bringing back the original, though now older audience, much like Lucasfilm did with the re-release of Episode One.
Using snippets of some of the most intense, heart-racing scenes of Steven Spielberg’s epic should bring back all those old feelings while still creating new interest. Check out the two spots below:
