The latest Entertainment Weekly – out tomorrow! – features behind the scenes coverage of Game of Thrones‘ Northern Ireland set, plus exclusive interviews with producers Dan Weiss and David Benioff, George R.R. Martin, and the cast, making it a must buy for Thrones fans with the burning need for print media. In EW‘s short online preview, Benioff teases one of Season 3’ biggest moments, only referred to as the “Scene Which Shall Not Be Named,” saying,
I’ve never seen the crew so emotional. If the scene has that effect on the people making it who know what’s coming, if they’re that overpowered, I think it’s going to have an overwhelming effect on people watching it.
Book readers should recognize exactly what scene he’s referring to, and hearing it had that kind of effect on those present only makes me all the more excited. Season 3 is gonna rock!
This week’s issue of EW also includes some new cast photos and they’ve previewed two, featuring Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, and Rose Leslie, via Facebook,
I wonder what this has all the Jon/Dany and Jon/Ygritte shippers thinking? Only one relationship is canon, so far anyway.
Game of Thrones returns March 31st at 9pm EST on HBO. Until then, check in to EW’s Game of Thrones hub for new exlusive interiviews they’re releasing every day until the show returns. Already up are great interviews with Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte).
