Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot – you either hate it or… you just don’t like it very much. But it is still coming, whether you want it to or not. Now, more news on the faces that will be involved in the flick, another casting addition in the form of Arrested Development’s Will Arnett.
There’s no word thus far on what role he’ll be playing, other than he will definitely not be Casey Jones. And while that’s a relief, the idea that he’d be jumping in the shoes of either Shredder or voicing the revered Splinter is just as nightmarish. Since casting has been vague thus far, it’s also a possibility that he might end up doing voice work for one of the turtles, which seems to fit a little better at least.
So there you have it, one more chapter in this tale of woe. Love Arnett or hate him, I don’t reckon he’ll be enough to keep this film from being anything more than your typical Bay-produced stomachache.
Check out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (or don’t) when it hits theaters June 6th of next year.
Thanks to /film for the heads-up.
