Well folks, it looks like that massive money-juggernaut, the almighty and all-powerful Disney, will be putting together yet one more project for us to look forward to in the future. This time around, it’s a movie by the name of Labyrinth and it is not, thankfully, going to be a hackneyed remake of Jim Henson’s 1986 classic. It does, however, bare a bit of a resemblance as far as the plot goes.
The script was put together by a relatively unknown writer by the name of Larry Brenner. It follows the journey of a princess as she makes her way through a horrible and dangerous maze on a quest to save her father. So, swap father for baby brother and you’ve got the same basic flick. I somehow doubt that this version will be filled with muppets or feature David Bowie though.
Thanks to collider for the heads-up.
