People love them some vampires, as the success of that god-awful Twilight series has been demonstrating for several years now. This summer, another attempt at tapping the bloodsucker-lover market is upon us. It’s a charming little flick called Byzantium and we’ve got the latest international trailer right here for you.
In addition to being created by vamp veteran Neil Jordan (Interview with a Vampire), it features some talent from two of the most painful movies in recent memory (besides Twilight), Gemma Arterton (Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters) and Saoirse Ronan (The Host).
Byzantium is the tale of a mother and daughter who just happen to be vampires. They drink blood and fall in love with humans while people try to figure out their secret and then kill them. In other words, a completely new premise and a shockingly original spin on the vampire story.

If it looks like something you might be able to sit through, then check out Byzantium when it hits theaters on June 28th.
Thanks to blastr for the heads-up.
