A big ‘ole scene for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was shot New York on Sunday and we’ve got some photos from the filming. Dubbed “Park Avenue Showdown” the scene featured Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) trying to get a pre-CG Rhino’s (Paul Giamatti) attention using a bullhorn. Oh, and there’s a mini Spider-Man that gets caught in the middle. Why does there need to be a little kid in every superhero movie now? What the hell is up with that? But I digress, check out the gallery below for your first unofficial look at The Rhino.
So the Rhino’s just a guy in a big robot suit now? I can’t say I was expecting the creatives to keep it true to the original comic and have a big guy in a half man/human Rhino costume, but still, what cargo bay did Gimmatti’s character hijack this from? I really should hold my judgements till we see the endresult, but I see this and can’t help but verbally insert “Get away from her you BITCH!” Know what I mean?
So, what say you guys? Are you worried about the final look of the Rhino? Sound off in the comment section below.
In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, opening May 2, 2014, for Peter Parker (Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
