We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut. Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. Supposedly inspired and named after the space station featured in the Star Trek series Deep Space Nine, Vianney Halter’s Deep Space Tourbillon watch took several years to design and build. The watch’s most striking feature is a spinning triple axis tourbillon that almost appears to float beneath a bulbous crystal dome as if it was set adrift in space. The Deep Space Tourbillon comes with a $192,000 price tag. Uh, what? That’s out of this world (pun intended)![Gizmodo]
