Ahead of the yearly chaos that is San Diego Comic Con there’s always some pieces of films yet to be that sneak out. SDCC has countered that by releasing their planned events for each day, but even then things come out that nobody expected. In this case, the past has returned.
According to Movieweb, this is the first teaser poster to Jurassic Park IV. That’s four for those of us who never studied Roman numerals. It feels sketchy seeing as the movie is still in the early stages of development, but they claim it’s the real deal. The claim is this comes from an insider at Amblin Entertainment, but before you pass judgement take a look below,
The image of the poster came with a note, claiming its credibility,
A friend of mine works for Amblin Entertainment, and he told me that a teaser poster will be released soon for the 2015 blockbuster, Jurassic Park IV. I didn’t believe him, so he just sent me a picture from the poster, without any comment. It seems valid, but I don’t know for sure. I think it will come to light soon!
It’s called a “teaser poster” for a reason and director Colin Trevorrow has been rumored to be making a return to Isla Nublar from the first film. Maybe this poster, featuring the iconic mosquito preserved in tree sap, is the first indication of the return to the island. Until we know for sure if this is real or not there’s two things we can do: we can wait two weeks like good nerds for SDCC or go see Jeff Goldblum. Legend has it that his chesthair senses when a new Jurassic Park property is being made.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted as everything develops.
