It’s almost here – the Agent Coulson and Friends show is almost here! Honestly, while that sounds like a great title, Marvel‘s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is much better and ABC has been on its A game promoting this juggernaut of nerd television. And while nobody outside of SDCC has seen the pilot episode yet, at least we get to see some fun new promos featuring Agent Coulson himself Clark Gregg.
The September 24th premier is still weeks out, but the Joss Whedon pilot episode has been making it’s rounds through clever trailers and online. In the first promo, with Gregg out of character, we get our first official descriptions of Coulson’s team. As you can expect, it’s as awesome as it sounds. Check it out:
In the second promo we’re treated to a highlight on Skye, the talented hacker and obsessed superhero fan played by Chloe Bennet. It’s not much, more of her saying some words between action shots, but at the very least, it shows off a few new pieces of footage seen in half-seconds.
Reprising his role as Marvel’s Agent Coulson, Clark Gregg returns in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Assembling a small, but highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D the team investigates the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.
From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (Marvel’s The Avengers, ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.
