If you’re like me, you’ve probably been waiting to pick up Iron Man 3 on DVD and Blu-ray since the first time you saw it in theaters. While I didn’t think it would come anywhere close to The Avengers, considering I kinda felt “meh” about the first two movies in the Iron Man series, I actually found myself enjoying it as much as, and at some points, even more than, the mega superhero team-up flick. Well, we are closing in on that opportunity, with the digital release becoming available on September 3rd, while the DVD and Blu-ray hit shelves on September 24th. Luckily, for those of us who just can’t wait a second longer, the Blu-ray’s gag reel is on the web, and you can check out the rest of the features of the DVD and Blu-ray here.

Yeah, sorry, those weren’t quite as entertaining as the bloopers from The Avengers, but not all bloopers can be winners, right? I’m not sure that even makes sense… Moving on.

For those of you that felt robbed by the 3 minutes of deleted scenes that we missed out on, which were exclusive to the Chinese release, that is also available now… but, it’s still in Chinese, and without subtitles. The first scene leads into *******************SPOILER ALERT***************** Tony’s surgery toward the end of the film, but since I cannot speak Chinese, I have no clue what this adds to the scene. The second deleted scene is a bit shorter, and seems to be used to essentially establish Iron Man as a “global” superhero but, again, I do not speak Chinese, so this is all assumption from the video.

So, what did you think? Are you now fulfilled, having seen that missing 4 minutes or so of foreign goodness? Who’s still looking forward to the Blu-ray release, regardless of gag reel?
