I tell you what, those Game of Thrones actors certainly seem to be getting around lately. Even though there are still many seasons to go before George R.R. Martin’s TV adaptation is completed, the people involved with the project have become Hollywood gold. The latest actress to get an amazing break is Natalie Dormer (A.K.A. Margaery Tyrell). It looks like Dormer will be getting a chance to prove her skills (yet again) in the third (and fourth) installment of the Hunger Games trilogy, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay (Parts I and II).
The announcement is official that Dormer has the role of Cressida, a director that hails from the Capitol and joins up with the rebellion in an effort to document it and create propaganda.
I have to say, I’ve not read the books, but Dormer has already proven to be one of the best actresses on the set of Game of Thrones and is likely to bring just as much talent to her Hunger Games’ role.
Any Hunger Games fans out there (that have read the books)? Think Dormer is the right fit for this character?
Thanks to Comic Book Movie for the heads-up.
