After polishing off his and Simon Pegg’s Three Flavor Cornetto Trilogy, Edgar Wright is back in L.A. and back at work on his contribution to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ant-Man. We’re expecting Ant-Man summer 2015, the year where every movie ever is releasing (and boy, do I wish I were exaggerating), which means Wright has got his work cut out for him. All we’ve ever seen from Ant-Man is a test-footage reel screened a couple Comic Cons ago. There’s been absolutely no casting news whatsoever, and we have no idea how Ant-Man in connected to the rest of MCU. Made all the more confusing when we learned Ultron, Ant-Man a.k.a. Hank Pym’s most infamous creation, would play a large role in The Avengers sequel, Age of Ultron.
Oh! And to add to our confusion, Wright goes ahead and tweets this,

Is this more test footage? A costume test? WHAT!?
Seriously, Edgar, could you have tweeted a more confounding picture?
Ant-Man is expected on the big screen July 31st, 2015.
