We’ve seen a portion of this before in the previously released trailers, but now we have this charming little scene between Thor and his evil (adopted) brother, Loki, in its entirety. From what we’ve gotten our hands on so far, this is what has me most excited about Thor: The Dark World, as Tom Hiddleston once again nails the role of the sneaky demi-god.
It seems like Loki isn’t really gaining much from Thor’s offer, and it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for him to rely on Loki in the first place (He couldn’t get Stark or Banner through whatever means he brought Jane there?). Obviously, there’s more that we don’t know yet. What exactly is this vengeance that Thor promises that makes the deal too sweet to turn down? Whatever the case may be, Thor’s “You betray me, and I will kill you,” followed by Loki’s reluctant “When do we start?” was, in all honesty, enough to get me to go see this movie. Luckily for us, the answer to Loki’s question is November 8th, in a theater near you.
