It’s here, it’s here, it’s finally here! The trailer for Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Days of Future Past is upon us… and it is has EPIC written all over it. Seriously, I was not expecting it to be THAT good.
So many feels going on in this trailer, I got chills. I liked how emotional and character driven it was, and how that awesome score tied it all together. My only gripe is there wasn’t one Sentinel to be seen or any lines from Peter Dinklage‘s Bolivar Trask. Still, there was a lot to take in this trailer. A lot of appearances. Did you catch them all? Here’s what I caught: old Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and the old Magneto (Ian McKellen), Storm (Halle Berry), Rogue (Anna Paquin), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), and Kitty (Ellen Page); a bunch of First Class peeps, such as the younger Professor X (James McAvoy) and the younger Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), and Beast (Nicholas Hoult); plus a whole lot of new characters including Bishop (Omar Sy), Sunspot (Adan Canto), Warpath (Booboo Stewart), and Blink (Bingbing Fan). Tying it all together is good ole’ Logan (Hugh Jackman).
If all this movie accomplishes is to retcon Last Stand‘s events out of existence, it will be the best X-Men movie ever made.
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Days of Future Past opens May 23, 2014
