The official title of Zack Snyder‘s follow up to Man of Steel hasn’t been chiseled in stone yet, everyone’s just been calling it Batman  Vs. Superman. So when Warner Bros. registers a slew of new domain names, one can expect the Internet to erupt into a storm of speculation.

Here are the eight domains registered earlier this week:

  • Man of Steel Battle the Knight
  • Man of Steel Beyond Darkness
  • Man of Steel Black of Knight
  • Man of Steel Darkness Falls
  • Man of Steel Knight Falls
  • Man of Steel Shadow of the Night
  • Man of Steel The Blackest Hour
  • Man of Steel The Darknness Within

What do you think?

Which of these is your favorite or do you have another title in mind?

As a life long fan-boy I’m really disappointed that World’s Finest isn’t in that list. Although these could just be a way to test the “Title Water” or misdirect the Internet. For all anyone knows these could be video game, book, or some other media titles for movie tie-in products. Batman Vs. Superman, as ridiculous as that title sounds, could remain the movie’s title.

“Man of Steel Battle the Knight”, “Man of Steel Beyond Darkness”, “Man of Steel Black of Knight”, “Man of Steel Darkness Falls”, “Man of Steel Knight Falls”, “Man of Steel Shadow of the Night”, “Man of Steel The Blackest Hour”, and “Man of Steel The Darknness Within”

The cast so far includes Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. With a ton of Internet rumors floating around about superhero cameos and additional roles like Nightwing and Wonder Woman, we’re sure to see the cast grow.

What ever the title ends up, the movie is scheduled to hit theater screens July 17th, 2015.
