I’d really like to say that you can scroll down right now and see the first of what Michael Bay has put together to entice you into watching Transformers: Age of Extinction, but, alas, like all big things that happen near the end of the year, it is being saved for events much larger than me and my Internet reporting. Bay and his cast and crew have just finished all the principal photography on the flick and are setting up to start teasing us with it, and that first taste shall be during the world-famous Super Bowl commercial barrage.
As the rumors have it, Bay is looking to make this a more serious installation in the franchise, moving away from the goofy BS that plagued the first three like a case of gonorrhea in a Bangkok brothel. Will that happen? I certainly hope so, because I loved those damned robots when I was a kid and would like to see a Transformers movie that doesn’t make be want to gouge my own eyes out. Please, mister Bay? I’ll even go watch your damned TMNT movie if you can do this for me.
So until Super Bowl time – which will be on… (looking it up on Wikipedia) February 2nd, 2014 – just wait and continue your hate. And those that actually want to see the full-length version of Transformers: Age of Extinction can check it out when it hits big screens come June 27th, 2014.
Thanks to Screenrant for the heads-up.
