I would say that it’s better, it’s cooler, it’s more awesomer. It’s a little bit darker, but also really has Joss Whedon’s incredible witty and sly sense of humor.
His egregious use of the word “awesomer” aside, it sounds like Avengers 2 will have more of an edge to it. Again, echoing what ScarJo said previously. Thankfully, equal attention is be given to keeping the film from becoming too dark. Fans of The Avengers aren’t looking for Man of Steel. Here’s hoping Whedon’s injection of wit and humor is enough to balance out the darker elements.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to begin filming soon in London at Pinewood Studios. And you have to wonder if the production is taking a sigh of relief even before it begins, what with Batman vs. Superman bumping its release date back one year. Relieves a little of the pressure, right?
