More news on the Jurassic World front, this time regarding the technical details of what we can expect from this latest installment of the dinosaurs-run-wild franchise. According to a tweet from director Colin Trevorrow, they’ve decided they’ll be shooting the new flick in both 35mm and 65mm.
Of course, whether this means they’ll be putting out an IMAX version of the movie is still up in the air. They could just be shooting it this way to make it seem extra-epic. The decision of what they’ll be doing ultimately boils down to the director, the budget and, of course, the lead cinematographer, John Schwartzman.
The Trevorrow tweet also mentioned that they’ll be starting up with the shooting in April, so Jurassic World is well on its way to becoming a reality. If everything stays on track we can expect it to hit the big screen come June 12th, 2015.
What do ye Nerd Readers think? Would you pay the extra bucks to check out dinosaurs in IMAX?
