It was announced earlier today that ABC would be airing a documentary detailing the Marvel Cinematic Universe, titled Marvel Presents: Assembling a Universe. While we’re going to be getting a first time look at a lot of behind-the-scenes content and interviews, could we also get our first look at some footage from the upcoming The Avengers: Age of Ultron?

Well, truthfully, we don’t know just yet if we’ll be getting actual footage from the hotly anticipated sequel to The Avengers, but we have been told that we will be getting a “sneak peak” of some sort. The movie has been filming for a few weeks now, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll be getting anything directly from the film.

In addition to the Age of Ultron feature, we’ll also be getting new footage from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Guardians of the Galaxy. I can’t imagine that we’ll get much more from Captain America, considering how much we’ve already seen and how close it is to release, but I’m sure no one will have a hard time getting excited over more from Guardians of the Galaxy after how much of a hit its first trailer was.

Regardless of the nature of the Age of Ultron sneak peak, this Assembling a Universe documentary doesn’t sound like something any Marvel fan is going to want to miss, so be sure to tune in or set your DVR for Tuesday, March 18 at 8/7c.

What do you think of this Marvel Cinematic Universe documentary? Is there anything you’re hoping for from the new promised footage? Let us know!
