Sixteen Minute Behind-the-Scenes Featurette on ‘Captain America: The Winter Solider’ Adds to Fever Pitch Buzz
Good God, I cannot wait to see this.
Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America: The Winter Solider is undoubtedly many film and comic book fans’ most anticipated spring movie. Now, with less than two weeks before it’s set to hit theaters, Trailer Addict has premiered sixteen minutes of b-roll, BTS footage that is sure to send those who are already salivating for their favorite Star Spangled Superhero into full on frenzy.
I’ve talked to friends who have seen The Winter Soldier, and the response seems to be unanimous (with one buddy even going as far as to call it “Marvel’s Dark Knight“). Harry Knowles is screening the movie here in Austin tonight, and I only expect the buzz to continue to grow, as nobody ever seems to walk out of those showings with anything less than an ear-to-ear grin on their faces (for better or worse). It seems that summer movie season is going to be kicked off with a gigantic blast of Marvel Movie magic, as Chris Evans & Co. have, by all accounts, delivered a picture that not only expands upon the promise contained within Joe Johnston’s first film (which is damn good in its own right), but goes above and beyond, the only way Cap himself would want it.
I have to cop to only skimming the featurette, as I’ve gone into full-blown “lockdown” in regards to my own consumption of info pertaining to The Winer Soldier (trying to keep my mind as fresh as possible). Enjoy these sixteen minutes of BTS magic, but do so at your own risk:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4th.
