The folks at Disney/Marvel are hard at work shooting Avengers: Age of Ultron and other people are hard at work making sure that some set photos get taken and sent out into the wide world of the Internet. We’ve seen the Ultron stand-in in his silly suit; we’ve seen Hawkeye, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. And now we get the first look at Iron Man. Scroll down to check out Clevver Movies’ video detailing the situation thus far.
And for those of you that can’t be bothered to watch the video for a few stills of Iron Man, there’s this:
I’m guessing they’ll CGI most of those silly pants and other things out of it before the final product is released. If not, we could be looking at one weird-ass interpretation of The Avengers.
Iron Man 3 Armor vs Bleeding Edge Armor
The suit looks very similar to what we saw in Iron Man 3 but with %50 less mustard color. Personally, I’d like to see more repulsor nodes like the bleeding edge armor (above).
Here’s a question: We know that Ultron’s origin is not based on the comics, but instead, a whacked out version of Stark’s computer A.I. JARVIS. In Iron Man 3, JARVIS was able to control all the suits from the hall or armor and help Tony in the final showdown. Wouldn’t Ultron have the same suit controlling ability? We saw some concept art of the Hulk fighting against Hulk Buster Iron Man, could it be Ultron that’s controlling Hulkbuster? How might Stark continue to use his Iron Man tech if Ultron can tap into? Can we expect to see another analog Iron Man suit like from the first movie?
Check back regularly, Nerd Readers, for there will most likely be plenty more set pics showing up as the weeks of filming progress. And check out Avengers: Age of Ultron in just under 14 months, on May 1st, 2015.
