While we unfortunately still don’t know what the Batman vs. Superman Batsuit is going to look like, we might have a more clear idea of what Ben Affleck is going for, physique-wise. As a retired crime fighter, will we get a tired, out of shape Bruce Wayne? Will he still be in crime fighting shape? Luckily, Mr. Affleck’s trainer clued us in on just that.

According to Ben’s Fitness Instructor Rehan Jalali, he’s going for the “Real-life superhero look” when he brings the new Dark Knight to the big screen. Describing the goal in a tweet as “muscular yet lean,” it sounds like this version of Bruce Wayne sure hasn’t spent any less time in the bat-gym since his retirement. In an update to the first tweet about Ben’s training, Jalali tweeted that “Batman is getting Large!” So, there you go.

@LeonidasLegend Big muscular yet lean and good body symmetry! Going for the Real-life superhero look! #RJfit

With how big Christian Bale got for the role in The Dark Knight Trilogy, it’s not much of a surprise that Affleck is going to follow suit. That’s not to say that he’s a stranger to getting in shape for a role, as Jalali worked with Ben for his role in The Town. Standing a full four inches taller than Bale, it looks like we’ll be getting a truly physically imposing Batman when he goes head to head with Henry Cavill’s Superman. Here’s to hoping that we get a costume to match.

What do you think about this news? Do you think a physically intimidating Batman reflects the character that’s been described? Let us know!

Batman Vs. Superman is due to hit theaters on May 6th, 2016, starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, and Jeremy Irons.
