Hello out there, Nerd Readers, and May the Fourth Be with You. Yes, it’s that most semi-famous of nerd holidays, the fourth of May. So here we are with yet another bit of Star Wars news for you to enjoy. This time around, it looks like Episode VII director J.J. Abrams and writer Lawrence Kasdan are getting in on the celebration. They’ve sent out a short video from London to let fans know that they care. Scroll down to check out what they have to say.
Awww. Ain’t they so cute together? Let’s hope they can make the next Star Wars flick into something grand. And maybe next time they send out a video they could include a little bit of set footage or something cool like that.
At least we know that they plan on continuing casting announcements soon. Though Kasdan’s little mention of them still working on the script is a bit of a mystery. I’m guessing that as the cast gets solidified they’re fine tuning and tweaking the script they have in order to get the best possible iteration of Episode VII. Some might get panicked that they don’t have the script 100% just yet, but it’s Lawrence Kasdan! I mean, this is the guy that wrote Empire Strikes Back. How could we possibly go wrong?
Happy Star Wars Day to all and make sure to check out Star Wars: Episode VII when it hits the big screen on December 18th of 2015.
