Aaron-Johnson-and-Elisabeth-Olsen

Two highly anticipated new heroes will be making their first appearance in the second Avengers flick, Avengers: Age of Ultron. To those that have been living in a closet for the last six months, I’m talking about Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. The brother-and-sister team promises to add some new and exciting elements to the flick, though how the actors will do in the roles remains to be seen. Now, Elizabeth Olsen – aka Scarlet Witch – and Aaron Taylor-Johnson – aka Quicksilver – sat down and talked a little bit about their roles and the new film in general.

In a recent interview with Moviefone, Olsen had this to say when asked about how the movie was going:

It’s so fun. I’m laughing all the time. The crazy thing is that it’s like, I’m throwing sh*t with my hands, that’s cuckoo! But it’s also like, We’re saving lives. And it’s very serious. There’s always that reminder that it’s very serious.

I… just want to stop right here and cry. This is the actress that’s playing Scarlet Witch? Really? Let’s hope Joss Whedon can give her a personality make-over, or we’re doomed.

Anyways, they went on to answer a few other questions. Most of them were, unfortunately, answered with “I can’t say.” Taylor-Johnson did spout some praise to the production company handling Age of Ultron and assured us that they were adamant about making sure that both he and Olsen were given a wealth of information concerning the characters they were to play. So at least there’s that…

Most of what they talked about revolved around the new Godzilla movie, so if you want to hear what’s going on with that, head over to Moviefone and read the entire interview. In the meantime, prepare your butt for Avengers: Age of Ultron when it releases on May 1st of 2015.
