We’ve had the teaser trailer, the movie poster, and now we’ve got the first trailer for Disney‘s animated Marvel movie Big Hero 6. Check out the animation style as Hire suits up his robot Baymax for the first time.
“Big Hero 6” is a heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a cutting-edge robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.
What did you think? I’m really like this animation style and hope the powers that be use the same style when they get around to putting some of the better known Marvel superheroes in animated movies.
We know that this movie is aimed at the younger market and we can expect see some goofy comedy like the armoring up scene above. I’m hoping that they bring the fun, along with the action ala The Incredibles style of story telling.
There’s still a lot of voice casting to announce with only three voices cast: Jamie Chung as GoGo, T.J. Miller as Fred, and Maya Rudolph in an unannounced role. As more parts are cast, we’ll bring them to you here.
