Check out this old letter from 1963 where Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin wrote to Marvel (Stan Lee and Jack Kirby) about Fantastic Four #17. GRR was probably around 15 years old when he sent that letter. Even as a pubescent boy, he had a way with words. I mean cripes, at 15 I was just waning off finger painting (a wonderful and often overlooked form of self-expression) and wrapping my head around the differences between “your” and “you’re”. [Marvel]
