As the production for Zack Snyder’s follow up to Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, trudges on, we watch the Internet for any and all hints of what the movie is looking like. We’ve already seen Ben Affleck all costumed up as Batman, but other than that there’s not much to look at. Now, as if to tempt fans without giving us anything really spectacular, Henry Cavill has released a sneak peek of himself dressed up as Clark Kent. Scroll on to check it out.
The photo comes from the set of Batman v Superman and was part of Cavill showing his support for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. And despite the casual look of it, the clothes are very much the Clark Kent costume that Cavill will be wearing in the new flick. Of course, he’s not wearing the glasses, so some may be thinking “Hey! It’s Superman!” But rest assured that this picture is of Kent and no one else.
On the downside, the Cavill/Kent picture is all we’re getting for now. There’s still nothing on Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman outfit and no shots of Jesse Eisenberg strutting his Lex Luthor look. On that front, all we have are rumors. But with San Diego Comic Con coming up in about 3 weeks, the information black-out is likely to end. Warner Bros. will want to bring some big guns to the table and people will be expecting either a clean look at Wonder Woman and Lex or a bit of footage from the new flick. So hold on to your butts until than and hopefully we won’t be disappointed.
