Fans of Arrow, prepare yourself for an epic reveal – the very first full-length trailer from the show’s third season. SDCC brings us many things, some good, some not-so-much, but this is one treat that Arrowheads everywhere have been long-awaiting. Witness such teases as Oliver’s time in Hong Kong, the introduction of The Atom, the return of The Dark Archer and much, much more. Scroll on for all the Arrow-y goodness.

***UPDATE***

There’s been an additional scene added to the trailer we all saw the other day, with none other than Ra’s al Ghul himself!!! The Arrow just keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait to see John Barrowman‘s Merlin meet up with Ghul again. Sounds like they have a history that needs a resolution. Now Thea is going to be right in the middle of those two’s personal problems.

Here’s the SDCC panel video:

Have you wet your seat yet? And don’t forget that both Arrow and The Flash will be enjoying a same-week premiere along with a two-hour crossover come episode 8 of both series.

And here are a few SPOILERS that the SDCC Arrow panel let loose. Scroll on at your own risk:

– Olicity fans may be a bit upset, as a date between Oliver and Felicity ends up going a bit south. Exactly what goes wrong? They aren’t saying.

– Roy will become more interesting by taking on the role of Arrow’s official sidekick, Arsenal. Don’t expect the transformation to be all candy and roses, however. Some of the tension from season 2 still needs to be resolved.

– Strange stuff will be happening to Thea. Actress Willa Holland wouldn’t say much other than “Thea is going through something pretty crazy. All I can say is I’ve been hitting the gym a little bit.” Dark Archer protégé anyone?

– Diggle potentially leaving Team Arrow to take on the role of a father.

– Finally we’ll be getting a better look at Felicity’s back-story. The Felicity-centric episode is said to be coming fairly early in the season.

– The introduction of Roy Palmer, aka The Atom. Exactly how long he’ll be staying around and in what capacity remains to be seen.

That’s about it, folks. The rest of it we’ll have to wait to see when Arrow season 3 premieres on October 8th.
