As the October 8th premiere of season three of Arrow and the pilot of The Flash creeps ever so closer, we’ve got a new promotional poster for Arrow and a new featurette video on S.T.A.R. Labs (Scientific and Technological Advanced Research Labs). While DC may be having issues getting its Cinematic Universe rolling, the DC Television World is rocking like nobody’s business. Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Constantine, along with talk of a Supergirl show are quickly taking television and the Internet by storm.
First up is the newest promotional poster featuring left to right, Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) now in costume, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), Laruel Lance (Katie Cassidy), and John Diggle (David Ramsey). Notice that they are forming an arrowhead pattern aimed right at the viewer.
Episode eight of Arrow will feature a crossover between the two shows. Flashwritersroom tweeted this picture of the cast table read through:

The interconnections between these two shows could spark a new age of comic book shows doing the one thing that comic books are famous for and that most fans complain the most about their favorite super hero shows, not enough team-ups. I’m hoping we’ll get more and more as Hollywood gets the message and gives fans what they want because we all know that Hollywood is famous for doing just that..
Next up is the S.T.A.R. Labs featurette.
That was interesting. Tom Cavanagh plays scientist Harrison Wells, the man who created the Particle Accelerator that went haywire and created the “meta-humans” and gave Barry his speed powers. That will be an interesting plot point to see develop in the series. Some are already speculating that Wells will become the Reverse Flash, Barry’s arch nemesis and the one thought to have killed Barry’s mother.
Will you be tuning in on October 8th?
