Guardians-of-the-Galaxy-End-Credits-Scene-Explained

In a move that many might call an oversell, Marvel has decided to ramp up fan’s desire to own a blu-ray copy of director James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy to eleven with the inclusion of an exclusive look at Joss Whedon‘s Avengers: Age of Ultron. That’s right, we’re breaking out the This is Spinal Tap jokes before the page break. It’s not like you really needed another reason to go out and buy Guardians of the Galaxy on DVD/Blu-ray, but Marvel figured that it might take another little nudge to get you off the couch December 9th to buy a copy. Of course most of you will probably just order it through Amazon and wait for the UPS guy to show up at your door.. There’s a catch though, it’s only available in the blu-ray version.

Will this just be the same footage shown at the Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron Panel at SDCC 2014? We can only hope that more than that will be included. This move should spur additional blu-ray sales for an already incredibly successful Marvel movie. GOTG is currently the highest grossing domestic film of 2014 and the additional DVD/Blu-ray sales will propel it even further up the World Wide Box Office list.

Jackson, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Paul Bettany in what is expected to be one of the highest grossing films of 2015.
