How quickly the year goes by. October is back and so is Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta Ga, this weekend, the 17th through the 19th. This marks the second year for Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta and it looks to be a big one. Walker Stalker has expanded since then with conventions in Boston, New York, San Fransisco, Dallas, Orlando, Chicago, and of course, Atlanta. There’s an incredible list of guests this year that includes just about every major Walking Dead character with only a few exceptions that had to cancel due to scheduling conflicts. We’ll be covering the convention the entire weekend and bringing it to you here.

Eric and James, of the Walker Stalker Podcast started the whole thing last year. We’ll be talking with them again this year. There’s some new and interesting additions to the convention this year.

The first is that Eric and James decided to buy a RV, just like the one in the show and fix it up. The plan was to make the front of the RV as close a replica as possible to the show, while the back would be outfitted with all the equipment needed to do their weekly Podcast, along with some man-cave type things to make them more comfortable.

They quickly ripped into the project:

Then they started to add those little touches:

The back room was made as comfortable and fun as possible:

Along with the equipment needed to so the Walker Stalker Podcast, they added some creature comforts like a large screen TV to watch The Walking Dead, and an official Walking Dead pinball machine:

Looks like a cool place to hang out. Eric and James will have the RV on site at the convention. I have an interview and tour set up for Friday with Eric and James to discuss the convention and RV build as well as tour and take pictures. You know I’m going to try out that pinball machine too!

While we’ll be chatting with a number of The Walking Dead guests this weekend, AMC is not allowing of the current cast members of The Walking Dead to do press this year. Must be worried about Spoilers! Jason Momoa has also declined to do press for during the convention, probably because he’s tired of not answering Aquaman questions. Here’s the lineup of confirmed Interviews Nerd Bastards has for Walker Stalker Con.
