While Joss Whedon is dropping new Avengers: Age of Ultron trailers and then extended trailers and then additional cameos, we haven’t really heard anything from Zack Snyder’s Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice since Gotham’s finest caught a Stormtrooper stealing the Batmobile. In fact, both Snyder and J.J. Abrams have gone silent running after kicking off a Twitter battle of one-up-man-ship. Now the latest news from the Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice set is coming from some fans checking out what’s filming in Yorkville, Illinois. That’s right, Yorkville is where Pa Kent (Kevin Costner) is buried and it looks like Bruce Wayne is there to pay his respects.
Fans are reporting that a number of the cast were on that set during shooting including Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, and Amy Adams. Here’s some of the grainy shots that clearly show the Smallville cemetery entrance.
Here’s a shot of Affleck in Bruce Wayne’s civies. The question remains, is he there to pay respects to Pa Kent, which is unlikely a flash back with everyone that is there. So who else died that would bring these characters together like this? Even though Diane Lane was seen on set, it could be that Ma Kent passes away, cutting the last human tie for Superman on the planet? Besides Lois that is…

Well, we’ve still got a few months before we’ll start to get hints of a trailer for Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and we’ll have to make do with blurry on set pictures as they pop up on the Internet until Snyder gets back in the Twitter game.
