One of the DC’s most understated and over debated head of teams, Amanda Waller, best known for her team leading skills in Suicide Squad, may have her leading lady after all. If you’re new to the whole Suicide Squad thing, depending on which medium you’re watching/reading she’s the skinny or wonderfully full figured alpha woman with her hand on the button ready to obliterate the team of super criminals sent to do the dirty work for the government. And now according to sources, she’ll have a place in the 2016 film. Read on through the break to How To Get Away with Being Amanda Waller…

The internet rumor mill (via LatinoReview) says that Viola Davis, the staring actress you may have seen from the killer new show on How To Get Away With Murder, has been slated for Suicide Squad.   It’s been added to her IMBD wonderfully enough as well, so take from that what you can. But lets all try to not get too excited there just yet, it’s also been mentioned that Octavia Spencer, and even Oprah Winfrey have been considered as well.

If given the black sport coat, Davis would be bossing around Will Smith (DeadShot), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomarang), Tom Hardy (Rick Hardy)  and, Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn).  Also confirmed are Jared Leto (Joker) and  Cara Delevingne (Enchantress).

Amanda Waller is of the DC franchise, brought into the roster in the late 80’s. Despite having no super powers of her own, she’s managed to move up the ranks of federal agency, and even worked with Batman once or twice. She keeps her badass approach by not caring and doing what needs to be done, without any care for her team of Suicide Squad members.  The powerful antagonist is one of the most cut throat, and was even voted number 60 in 2009’s IGN Greatest Comic Book Villian of All Time.

So what all do you think? Do you want to see Davis? Or Oprah? Do you think one is more cannon to comics? Or the other? Write in the comments below
