marvel-vs-dc

If you watch one video today, make it this one. That eight year old nerd that lives inside every one of us will thank you for it. As we all know, there are fan films, and then there are FAN FILMS that blow us away. The problem is sifting through all the drak to find that one gem. Today you don’t have to wade through anything, just click and watch the video below.

[*Charlie Layton created that Marvel-ous image of Cap spilling Superman’s beer at the bar above, after you’ve watched the video, go check out his artwork.]

It’s one of the eternal Nerdy arguments that will never really be answered, “Who wins in a fight between Marvel‘s superheroes and DC‘s superheroes.” It’s happened in the comics, but as one would expect, everyone ends up friends and no one really goes home embarrassed by their performance in the fight.

Alex 88, or Alex Luther on YouTube has put together a fantastic look at what a big screen Throw Down Of Epic Proportions would  look like if Marvel and DC ducked it out. He uses just about every medium; Movies, Television, Video Games, where ever he could find quality images to use in his fan made trailer, he slipped them in there, even using clips from other high quality fan made shorts.

The music sets the tone and it all goes by so quick that you suddenly realize that Hulk just body slammed Superman in place of Loki and you want to see so much more. Can you pick out which movie, television show, or video game each frame came from?

What did you think? Of course there’s no real story in there, just incredible match ups we’d all like to see on the big screen.

Considering that Marvel and Sony seem to be close to a deal to bring Spider-Man back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe Fold, could we start to see some cross over movies? Usually I wouldn’t tell anyone to hold their breath about it, but apparently, stranger things have happened and are happening now, so who knows at this point.

He also made a Suicide Squad teaser that is worth a look:
