Silicon Valley star T.J. Miller is known for playing mouthy smart alec characters. He’s like the out of shape ginger version of Ryan Reynolds. Who, incidentally, will co-star against in FOX’s upcoming Deadpool movie. It will be interesting to see how these two jive talking jerks play off each other.
Now we know Reynolds is playing the films titular anti-hero, but what roll is T.J. Miller being pegged for? A recent Tweet from Miller leads us to believe he’s something of a weasel.
Most fans likened Miller to comic book character Bob, Agent of Hydra. Bob is an average agent, but is Deadpools biggest and only fan. However, HYDRA is a no go as that’s Marvel/Disney property. Deadpool is a spin-off from his appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine – a FOX property.
Miller tweeted a message that included the hashtag “WeaselThin.” indicating the only other comic character he’d be shoe in for.

Not that we want to jump to conclusions, but it’s reasonable to assume Miller is referring to Weasel, aka Jack Hammer.
Miller’s strengths match what we believe is Weasel’s character description from the leaked Deadpool casting call:
Quirky, great sense of humor. Smart, funny, but more than a little bit slippery. Fast talker, always looking to make a buck. He looks out for himself first and foremost, but reveals loyalty at the end of the day.
Deadpool is being directed by Tim Miller, and will star Ryan Reynolds, T.J. Miller, Morena Baccarin and Gina Carano. It will open in theaters February 12, 2016.
