Avengers: Age of Ultron is introducing some fairly heavy weight Marvel comic book characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). To help audiences get ready for all these new characters The Mighty-Marvel-Marketing-Powers-That-Be have put together this little intro video with director Joss Whedon.

We’ve seen them at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier as captives/volunteers for HYDRA experiments, and we’ve seen them in the first Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer. Now we get a little background on the super powered brother and sister, along with some of their motivations.

There are most likely some more characters that will be introduced, not in costume, but in their secret identities or pre-super-powered selves. I’m looking at you Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. There might be one in costume though, now that I think about it, Spider-Man in costume towards the end of the movie would be incredible.

This is what really caught my attention in this new featurette:

The Scarlet Witch’s Hex Power looks incredible and I hope they truly capture the immense power she possesses.

Of course we didn’t get anything on Paul Bettnay‘s vision, and I imagine we won’t. I just can’t see Whedon letting that cat out of the bag until the movie hits theaters.

What do you think? Could this movie get ANY better?
