It’s often said that Hollywood is Highschool with money. While that is mostly true, in the case of the cast and crew of Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, it’s summer camp without the counselors (except not really). What is certain, is this rag tag crew of actors dressed as superheroes like each other a heck of a lot, and sure know how to have fun on set.
A new Avengers: Age of Ultron behind-the-scenes featurette shows what goofs and good times the likes of RDJ, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and the rest of the AOU cast were having on set.
It funny to watch Joss Whedon talk about how great the chemistry the cast have with each other, but at the same time complain at how frustrating it is to reel everyone in for business – what’s the phrase “it’s like herding cats”. I’m sure he had plenty of fun, as he’s basically a kid playing with real like action figures.
Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
Marvel’s Age of Ultron busts into theaters on May 1st.
