We showed you the notice residents near the Georgia Street Viaduct, or bridge for those of us south of the Canadian border, received last week concerning the scheduled Deadpool filming. Filming kicked off as scheduled at that location today and we’ve got some on set pictures from fans and media. What’s truly surprising is that those pictures paint us a very familiar scene.

Just looking at those should remind you of the test footage that was leaked onto the Internet which sparked studio interest and got this whole movie into production. It looks like director Tim Miller and Ryan Reynolds aren’t going to just let that scene stop there, but are bringing it into the big screen movie. Here’s the original leaked scene to compare.
What do you think? I imagine it will be an introduction type scene in the movie, perhaps the opening scene of the movie.
Deadpool, which is scheduled to hit theater screens February 12th, 2016, stars Ryan Reynolds, Ed Skrein, TJ Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, and Morena Baccarin.
