While there’s no Captain Marvel Easter Egg or Cameo in Avengers: Age of Ultron, there is some news on the Captain Marvel movie front. Marvel has narrowed their choices on who will be writing the Captain Marvel script to two: Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Meg LeFauve (Inside-Out). The thing is, it’s not a choice between the two, Marvel wants them both.
Both have been working on Captain Marvel treatments and Marvel’s chief MCU guru Kevin Feige is said to have been blown away by both writers takes on the material and wants them to work together.
Nicole Perlman, pictured above at the Guardians of the Galaxy premiere, has also been rumored to have been working on a Black Widow treatment. A character that deserves a stand alone movie… or Netflix series… or ABC After School Special… anything, just give us some more Black Widow.
The Captain Marvel production is still in the very early stages with no director, or casting news yet, but until Marvel has a working script, I wouldn’t expect any. Considering the release date of July 6th, 2018, there’s plenty of time for us to speculate and ponder what might come.
