Now that we know that Tom Holland (The Impossible) is the new Spider-Man, all the Internet’s attention has turned to figuring out when and how big his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be. Since part of the casting decision was based on Holland’s screen test with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. one can easily, and quite correctly, expect that Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man will show up in Captain America: Civil War. That leaves the question, how big an appearance will he make?
Rumor has it that Holland will only spend a week on the Captain America: Civil War set, which is just about right for a cameo. In fact I would hazard to say it will be a beefy cameo, more than just the usual Stan Lee sized cameo.
Holland has already been working on some Spider-Man moves:

While we won’t get to see Spider-Man take on the original story line in Civil War, we might see him earlier in the film than many expect. The usual big surprise cameo is later in most films, but I am leaning toward this beefier cameo being near the beginning, when things are just heating up.
The emergence of new unknown and untested superheroes being one of the reasons Stark wants to register them all with the government. We might see Spider-man being one of those heroes used by Stark to prove his point. I can see Stark holding up a Daily Bugle with a front page story on the “Menace of Spider-Man” by J. Jonah Jameson.
What do you think? How would you like to see Spider-man make his big debut?
