Continuing the gear up for SDCC 2015 Starz‘s Ash vs Evil Dead has released two more production stills featuring the famous Chainsaw and Ash’s sweet ride, the 1973 Delta 88. With the news that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will not be presenting any new footage or a second trailer, this makes me wonder if some of the smaller panels might try to take advantage of that opening. Could we see some footage from the new series? Well what we do have is two new production stills courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. Here’s Ash with his best buddy… after his Boom Stick that is.

Remember that teaser from a few weeks ago?

Then there was a look at Bruce Campbell as Ash and Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s sidekick in the series.

It looks like Pablo has just finished up his first encounter with the Deadites. Campbell had this to say about the car:

Sam’s original Delta is back. I’m talking the ‘73 Delta 88. The Classic is back! I’ve driven it. I did a William Shatner power-slide in that car. That’s the only spoiler I’m gonna give you: that Ash and that car — we can power-slide. I met William Shatner on the convention circuit, and I talked about T.J. Hooker. He talked to me about how he power-slides those cars in T.J. Hooker. So I took Shatner’s advice, and I used that advice to do a T.J. Hooker combo-platter — with the Classic — power-slide.

Oh yeah baby, gimme a little sugar. That car is sweet. Perhaps it will start making the convention circuit once the series airs.
